Attention to Detail

Our client was renovating their existing 1960’s home and opening up the wall between their kitchen and lounge. The cabinetry was designed to go from floor to ceiling to optimise as much storage space as possible. The fridge, with a display cabinet off the back was freestanding off the end of the island joinery to create a visual wall. Our client had also collected some demolition heart rimu timber and wanted to use this in the kitchen as specific features. Using the rimu we built floating shelves, glass door frames and some beautiful storage boxes that shows off the dovetail joints.

Being our first major renovation, we were both excited and anxious at the prospect of designing and fitting a new kitchen.

Working alongside Stu and his team was a fantastic and pleasurable experience. We greatly appreciated his professionalism, honesty, punctuality and eye for detail.

The open plan design and free-flowing layout was perfect for our growing family and with its ease of function, our kitchen has certainly become the hub of our home.

Stu had great problem-solving ideas and resolutions and wasn’t fazed by the “quirks” of our 50+ year old house. He had no problem sourcing and using materials that we wanted to make our renovation unique and personal.

We are ecstatic with the results and know that we have a quality kitchen and fittings that will definitely outlast our family.

We will certainly not hesitate to involve Stu and his team in future projects.
